Dr Mollie Harmer-Leicester is an FY2 Doctor working in the North West of England with a
strong interest in quality improvement, audit, and patient safety. As an Enhance trainee, she
is actively involved in leading and delivering improvement work with a focus on person-
centred care and safer healthcare systems.
With a career interest in anaesthesia, Mollie brings a frontline clinical perspective to
improvement initiatives, recognising the importance of reliability, teamwork, and human
factors in high-risk environments. They have presented their improvement work at multiple
regional and national conferences, receiving awards for best oral presentation in recognition
of the impact and quality of their work.
Mollie is passionate about empowering foundation doctors and medical students to
recognise themselves as leaders and agents of change. Through mentorship, advocacy, and
engagement in improvement work, they are committed to fostering a culture where early-
career clinicians feel confident to contribute to meaningful, sustainable improvements in
patient care.
