Dr Jenny Illingworth is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Clinical Lead for Health Improvement at a London acute hospital trust. She has extensive experience leading organisation-wide quality improvement programmes, with a focus on embedding sustainable, data-driven change across complex systems. Jenny recently completed an MBA with Henley Business School, where her research explored optimising emergency surgical capacity through strategic service redesign. Her non-clinical interests centre on large-scale transformation and the integration of public health interventions into secondary care pathways to improve clinical outcomes and reduce health inequalities. Clinically, she specialises in emergency and trauma anaesthesia and contributes to global health through humanitarian work, teaching trauma care skills to doctors in conflict zones. Jenny is passionate about using evidence, collaboration, and system design to deliver measurable improvement in patient outcomes and population health.
