Dr. Nanthini Saravanan is a Foundation Year 2 doctor with a strong interest in
surgery and a growing portfolio of qualityimprovement work. As part of
the Enhance programme, Nanthini works closely with the Continuous Improvement
Team, contributing to multiple Trustwide projects aimed at strengthening patient
safety and optimising clinical pathways.
Current projects include increasing the utilisation of the Virtual Ward to support safe
admissions and early supported discharge, as well as improving safety in local
invasive procedures through enhanced processes and consistent application of
bestpractice standards. In these roles, Nanthini collaborates with multidisciplinary
teams to identify system gaps, test solutions, and implement sustainable
improvements.
