Dr. Rahul Deshmukh is a Medical Director (Chief of Medical Services) and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at a JCI-accredited hospital in Dubai, has been practicing anesthesiologist with 24 years of experience in Anesthesiology, and he has more than eight years of experience in healthcare leadership at JCI-accredited hospitals.

Dr. Rahul established the first DNV recognized Orthopedic Centre of Excellence in UAE.
He has formal training in healthcare quality (CPHQ), healthcare administration (MBA), and leadership (PGDHCM). He has a keen interest in clinical governance and is a staunch advocate of patient safety.
As the clinical governance leader of the organization, Dr. Rahul is developing an infallibly tenacious culture of quality in the organization by effectively and efficiently using various quality-related skills acquired while learning CPHQ and management skills learned while obtaining an MBA in healthcare management.

Having spent more than two decades in the field of healthcare, it is imperative to give back to the industry by improving the overall quality of service and outcomes for our most critical stakeholders, our patients.

He actively advances global patient safety through research, policy, and international speaking engagements. A passionate endurance athlete, he has completed multiple marathons and ultramarathons.
