Past-Chairman of the International Federation of Kidney Foundation – World Kidney Alliance and past-Co-program Director of World Kidney Day (a Joint committee of IFKF-International Society of Nephrology). Dr Lui retired from the Hospital Authority in 2012 (Consultant for Quality and Safety) and as a Clinical Professional Consultant, Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Public Health and Primary Care in 2019. Currently he is a Honorary Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Public Health and Primary Care and a Honorary Consultant of Prince of Wales Hospital (Quality and Safety). Recently, Dr Lui was a member of a Review Committee on the Management of the Public Hospital System and chaired an Expert Advisory Group on Quality and Safety for the Hospital Authority.
