Head of Neurology, Geriatrics, Neurorehabilitation, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at Slagelse Hospital; Denmark

My name is Lisbeth Schrøder, and I am Physiotherapist,. During the past seven years, I have been the head of Neurology, Geriatrics, Neurorehabilitation, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at Slagelse Hospital, Denmark. I hold a master’s degree in public governance (MPG). Together with my colleagues, we are continuously working on initiatives to enhance care for acute patients, improve communication in ultidisciplinary teams, and focus on developing a stronger patient safety culture.

At the IHI conference, I will present our latest efforts to strengthen the patient safety culture and share insights from the process of creating sustainable cultural change in at setup together with the surgical department.
