Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) was initially established in 2006 by the Australian, state and territory governments to lead and coordinate national improvements in safety and quality in health care. The Commission is a government agency that leads and coordinates national improvements in safety and quality in health care across Australia. Clinical Excellence Commission
The primary focus of the CEC has been to promote and support improved clinical care, safety and quality across the NSW public health system, and to meet functions specified by the Minister for Health. Monitoring processes and performance, to provide assurance of clinical quality and safety improvement at a system-wide level, has been a central and distinct role of the CEC. The CEC has gained local, national and international recognition by developing and driving programs and initiatives in collaboration with clinicians, managers, consumers and health service partners.
Queensland Health - Clinical Knowledge Network
The Clinical Knowledge Network (CKN) is Queensland Health’s statewide medical, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health sciences online library. CKN provides clinicians with access to the state’s most extensive and authoritative collection of evidence-based clinical knowledge resources, directly supporting clinical decision-making, patient care, safety, clinical innovation, medical research, and staff training.

Health Quality and Safety Commission
The Health Quality & Safety Commission works with clinicians, providers and consumers to improve health and disability support services. Our vision is a world-class and patient-centred health care and disability support system in New Zealand. It’s about doing the right thing – and doing it right. Our priority is to reduce patient harm from healthcare associated infections, surgery, medication and falls. Our programme areas include medication safety, infection prevention and control, adverse events, reducing harm from falls, health quality evaluation, consumer engagement, reducing perioperative harm and mortality review.

PHN National Improvement Network Collaborative
PHN National Improvement Network Collaboration (NINCo) established in 2018, is a pioneering initiative aimed at enhancing quality improvement (QI) in Australia’s primary healthcare. By fostering collaboration across 31 Primary Health Networks (PHNs), the collaborative provides a nationally recognised, consistent evidence-based approach to continuous improvement by encouraging collaboration, standardisation and innovation to enhance capability building across Australia’s PHNs. The objective is to build a resilient, data-driven healthcare system that consistently delivers improved patient outcomes. Through comprehensive training programs, evidence-based QI, and a strong emphasis on sustainability, NINCo is building capability for healthcare improvement nationwide.
