Few can remember a time when the world was changing as fast as it is now. The digital revolution, an ageing population, a so-called post-truth culture and a potential loss of civility are just a few of the challenges that our health and care systems face in 2025 and beyond.

In this context, 'leadership' can’t just sit with our senior leaders, it must live everywhere. It’s everyone’s job. It is what happens in the small day-to-day moments as much as in the big decisions.

In this keynote, Professor Jason Leitch will address today's challenges and share practical examples from health and care systems around the world. He will reflect on how we all, who are charged with improving the quality of the services that we deliver, might respond.
