Dr Sam Prince

Dr Sam Prince is an Australian medical doctor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He founded Zambrero in 2005 while a 21-year-old medical student; the Mexican restaurant brand now operates 350+ locations worldwide and, through its Plate 4 Plate initiative, has donated nearly 100 million meals to people in need.
In 2011 he established the non-profit One Disease to eliminate crusted scabies in remote First Nations communities—an outcome the organisation has achieved by 2022. He also founded Next Practice, a technology-enabled primary-care model reimagining GP clinics across Australia.
His work has been recognised with EY Social Entrepreneur of the Year (Australia, 2018), ACT Young Australian of the Year (2012), and JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (2008).
