Join Amy Edmondson, Novartis Professor of Leadership and Management at the Harvard Business School and keynote speaker in London, to discuss her book The Right Kind of Wrong.
Amy will be interviewed by Helen Surana about her new book on how to fail well, and there will be an opportunity for questions.
If you can, read Right Kind of Wrong – Why Learning to Fail Can Teach Us to Thrive by Amy Edmonson before you attend, but all are welcome to this rich and important discussion.

Join Thania for a 30-minute de-stress and unwind. Thania will walk you through some seated stretches and then move onto some standing moments, finishing with a relaxing guided meditation.

National Theatre Tickets to Nye

Enjoy a trip to the National Theatre to see Nye – One man’s dream of the NHS, written by Tim Price (Teh Internet is Serious Business) and directed by Rufus Norris (Small Island).
Michael Sheen (Under Milk Wood) is Nye Bevan in this surreal and spectacular journey through the life and legacy of the man who transformed Britain’s welfare state.
From campaigning at the coalfield to leading the battle to create the NHS, Aneurin ‘Nye’ Bevan is often referred to as the politician with the greatest influence on our country without ever being Prime Minister.
Confronted with death, Nye’s deepest memories lead him on a mind-bending journey back through his life; from childhood to mining underground, Parliament and fights with Churchill in an epic Welsh fantasia.
This is a ticketed event, with a limited number of tickets (Stalls: O44-46, P37-46, R40-46) available to purchase at a reduced cost of £45.

Show start time: The show will begin at 19:30 and you should arrive at the venue between 19:00-19:15.
Ticket Collection: Your tickets will be ready to collect from the International Forum registration and enquiries desk anytime between 10:00-16:00 on Thursday 11 April.
Transportation: Your transportation is not included in your ticket. We recommend using public transport to travel to the theatre. Ahead of the International Forum we will send an introduction email to everyone who has booked tickets for the Nye performance, should you wish to organise a meeting point with the group and travel together.
Cartooning “Sparkling Moments” in Health Care

In this energising, interactive session you will discover the world of “Graphic medicine” – cartoons by doctor’s nurses and patients who relate to experiences in healthcare.
Get playful and have a go at cartooning joyous moments in your work whether they are in giving or receiving care, teaching and learning or implementing quality improvement change. No artistic ability required, stick figures are great! Paper, pens, crayons, pencils will be provided.
There is no obligation to share, but the magic happens when we share our sparkling moments.
Appreciative inquiry is a transformative approach for creating psychological safety and a positive workplace climate and you will have an opportunity to experience this in small groups.
Consider how you might use this playful, strengths-based, novel approach in your workplace to appreciate and build your team.
We can learn a lot from considering what it looks like when we are at our best and this is a refreshing change from reflecting, with the normal negativity bias, on complaints, challenges, and significant events.
The workshop will be led by Linda Miller, a Medical Humanities doctoral researcher in Birkbeck, England.
Pub Quiz

Head to The Fox and join a team to take part in a traditional UK pub quiz. We will be joined by a Quiz Master for part of the evening, who will lead us through multiple rounds of questions!
Alongside this, there will be food and drinks provided for the evening.
