Experience Days programme in London

These popular Experience Days, part of the International Forum Wednesday programme, are designed around site visits that take place at different locations across London. These will allow you to hear first hand about how health and care organisations work with other local authorities and community groups to deliver real change.

Thank you to all Experience Day hosts for welcoming our attendees and sharing your insight with them

The Experience Days at the International Forum London 2024

At the heart of the International Forum London 2024 agenda sits our exclusive Experience Day programme.

These site visits are an opportunity to get into the heart of communities and populations across London and to hear first hand how care providers and those with lived experience are working together to improve outcomes for everyone.

What to expect during an Experience Day?

Experience day visits take place in groups of up to 50 participants. They take place at different locations across London.

Each visit will include an overview of the organisation or community that is represented. This will be followed by an opportunity to delve deeper into a range of projects and initiatives they deliver in smaller subgroups.

At the end of the day, you will meet back together to reflect on the experience and the learning you will take back home.

Collaborative transformations: partnering with the community for impact

In recognition of our conference theme ‘Together to regenerate health and care’, our site visits present you with the opportunity to get out into local communities across London to see how health and care organisations are partnering with other local authorities and community groups to deliver real change. If you’d like to see examples of this work, choose one of these Experience Days:

X1: Golborne Community: place-based partnerships between healthcare, local authority and third sector to serve the healthcare needs of a local population

X2: Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Improving Population Health and Equity

X4: East London NHS Foundation Trust: Homeless health and engaging with local voluntary and charitable organisations to improve population health

X5: Bromley by Bow Health Centre: integrating services for local residents in East London

Spaces on our Experience Day programmes are very limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
