Wong Moh Sim

Dr Wong Moh Sim is Senior Consultant Chemical Pathologist at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). She holds the concurrent position of Deputy Group Chief Quality Officer, NHG and Director, Institute of Healthcare Quality (IHQ).
She serves on various committees in laboratory medicine and quality assurance. Her clinical interest is diabetes mellitus and she see patients in diabetes clinic.
She was formerly Deputy Chairman Medical Board (Clinical Quality) and Director (Clinical Services) at KTPH and was involved in many patient safety and clinical quality (PSQI) initiatives at both hospital and cluster level. As Director, IHQ, she works closely with her team to plan and conduct PSQI workshops for NHG staff and external parties.
Tung Yew Cheong

Group Chief Quality Officer, NHG Health; Singapore
Dr. Tung is a clinician administrator who has been practicing Family Medicine since year 2000. He has held several administrative positions in NHGP, including Heads of different polyclinics, Deputy Director of Clinical Services and Director of Quality & Patient Safety. Currently he is the Group Chief Quality Officer, National Healthcare Group. He has led, participated, and mentored numerous teams in quality improvement work, including Lean 3Ps, Value Stream Maps and Clinical Practice Improvement Programmes (CPIPs). He also serves as faculty for quality improvement and patient safety training programmes. He has completed the LEAN Black Belt Programme conducted by the Medical LEAN Institute Simpler Healthcare, Denver Health, University of Denver, Colorado in 2008 and the IHI Improvement Advisor Programme in 2023.
Sandhya Mujumdar

Senior Specialist, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QI & PS), NHG Health; Singapore
Dr Sandhya is a clinician administrator and has held administrative positions in NHG, NUH, and other Singapore hospitals.
Her current role in NHG involves QPS training, designing curriculums, evaluating QPS projects, supporting QI initiatives, developing & maintaining a dedicated team of faculty & facilitators, developing toolkits for ease of learning by all levels of staff, including micro-learning material.
As the former Deputy Director, Medical Affairs-Clinical Governance Department at the National University Hospital (NUH) for 20-years, she was overall in-charge of quality and safety, clinical policies, performance management, licensing and JCI accreditation.
She has presented posters, given oral presentations and won many awards for professional excellence, and quality and safety improvement projects at national/international levels and published articles in journals.
Ng Yeuk Fan

Dr Ng Yeuk Fan is a Senior Consultant Public Health Physician and Director of Corporate Development at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital, National Healthcare Group, Singapore. He brings over two decades of leadership in health system transformation, performance improvement, and healthcare innovation across policy, hospital, and regional health system levels.
Dr Ng is internationally recognised for pioneering approaches to value-based healthcare, integrated care systems design, and population health transformation. He leads major system-wide initiatives using systemic design, complexity science, and systems thinking—most notably the Unified Care Model and Health System Transformation Playbook, which have garnered international interest from designers and stewards of healthcare systems to support their care, governance as well as digital transformation.
His work in AI for healthcare focuses on leveraging large language models and generative AI to enhance planning and quality improvement initiatives in care as well as in corporate transformation. He has developed and delivered hands-on AI workshops for healthcare professionals and speaks internationally on the application of AI in driving transformation.
As Adjunct Associate Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Duke-NUS Medical School, he also teaches leadership, quality and value, systems thinking, and integrated care and population health. Dr Ng’s work exemplifies a commitment to embedding improvement science, data-driven methods, and collaborative learning to deliver better outcomes, equity, and value at scale. Yan Jun is currently the Lead Process & Innovation Specialist at JurongHealth Campus (JHC), a position that he held since 2018. With a cumulative decade of healthcare experience, Yan Jun developed strategies to build Quality Improvement (QI) capacity and capability, designed QI training curriculum and continuously promote quality improvement culture in JHC. Yan Jun’s expertise in the Model for Improvement, Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking was instrumental to tackle complex hospital issues and drive system-level changes through organisation-wide QI projects. His contributions extend beyond JurongHealth, collaborating with fellow improvers at NUHS cluster level and serving as CHI Learning & Development Knowledge Ambassador, impacting healthcare improvement and productivity on a broader scale. Ong Wei Jun Dan

Dan is a Senior Respiratory Therapist at Jurong Health Campus, NUHS, with a strong focus on advancing respiratory care, clinical education, and research. Known for his innovative approach, he has led projects such as Tele-NIV systems, home-based respiratory care, and digital platforms like “AskVijay.” His research spans outcome prediction for mechanically ventilated patients, tracheostomy care, and integrating technology into clinical practice. Dan has published extensively on topics such as tracheostomy care, prediction models for high-flow nasal cannula therapy outcomes, and the application of machine learning in respiratory care, with his findings presented at local and international conferences. A democratic and pace-setting leader, he fosters collaboration and mentors novice allied health researchers, guiding them from ethics applications to data analysis. Recognized for his contributions, he serves on committees such as the Allied Health Research Panel. Dan’s dedication continues to shape respiratory therapy’s future through innovation, education, and impactful publications.
Vanessa Koh
Duke-NUS Medical School; Singapore
Vanessa is a PhD Candidate at Duke-NUS Medical School, specialising in Health Services and Systems Research, and is affiliated with the Centre for Ageing Research and Education. Her research focuses on population health, health prevention and policy analysis. She employs a mixed methods approach, which include both quantitative and qualitative methods for her studies. She complements these traditional methods with System Dynamics, an approach used to identify and address complexities inherent in dynamic systems. Currently, her work centers on investigating the predictors of falls, identifying individuals at high falls risk, and designing interventions for the successful implementation of community-based falls prevention programmes.

Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Referral Hospital; Indonesia
I work as a pediatric intensivist at a National Referral Hospital in Indonesia. Apart from being a clinical doctor, I am also a lecturer who teaches and trains medical students. Outside of working hours as a pediatric intensivist, I act as secretary of the Infant Mortality Rate Task Force Indonesia Pediatric Society. The task force’s main task is to coordinate with various stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health, other professional organizations, primary and referral health facilities, and non-government organizations, especially concerning infant and child mortality. One of the programs implemented is a national audit of neonatal, infant, and toddler deaths involving ten provinces in Indonesia, as well as joint coordination during the tragedy of acute kidney failure due to ethylene glycol/diethyl glycol poisoning in Indonesia.

Stephanie Sutjipto

Dr Stephanie Sutjipto is an Associate Consultant Infectious Diseases (ID) Physician at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She completed her medical training at the University of New South Wales (Sydney) and received her Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2016. She has been a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom since 2016 and completed her specialist training in ID in 2022. Dr Sutjipto is actively involved in clinical ID-related research, as well as Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) research projects. Additionally, she holds clinical teaching positions at both NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Nanyang Technological University Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
