Dr. Jonathan B. Perlin is a leading healthcare executive, serving as President and CEO of The Joint Commission Enterprise since 2022. Previously, he was President of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer at HCA Healthcare, where he spearheaded initiatives to improve patient care, including AI-driven sepsis detection and maternal health programs. Earlier, he led the Veterans Health Administration, implementing a national electronic health record system. 

He holds faculty positions at Vanderbilt and Virginia Commonwealth University and has served on key federal commissions. Recognized for his impact, he was named among Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare in 2023.
