Adj A/Prof Chen Yongsheng is a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and National University Hospital in Singapore. After completing medical school at NUS in 2008, he underwent orthopaedic residency training and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017. Through the prestigious HMDP and AOTrauma fellowships, he received specialised training in complex orthopaedic trauma at Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia and across hospitals in Thailand. As an AO Foundation faculty member, he teaches courses internationally on trauma and deformity correction. At NUS, he leads undergraduate medical education and has received multiple teaching awards. He has presented at conferences worldwide and authored over 20 publications. He underwent the human factors programme on incident investigation with Medled UK and lead the development of the training curriculum at Jurong Health Campus.
