Dr Sandhya is a clinician administrator and has held administrative positions in NHG, NUH, and other Singapore hospitals.
Her current role in NHG involves QPS training, designing curriculums, evaluating QPS projects, supporting QI initiatives, developing & maintaining a dedicated team of faculty & facilitators, developing toolkits for ease of learning by all levels of staff, including micro-learning material.
As the former Deputy Director, Medical Affairs-Clinical Governance Department at the National University Hospital (NUH) for 20-years, she was overall in-charge of quality and safety, clinical policies, performance management, licensing and JCI accreditation.
She has presented posters, given oral presentations and won many awards for professional excellence, and quality and safety improvement projects at national/international levels and published articles in journals.
