National Referral Hospital; Indonesia

I work as a pediatric intensivist at a National Referral Hospital in Indonesia. Apart from being a clinical doctor, I am also a lecturer who teaches and trains medical students. Outside of working hours as a pediatric intensivist, I act as secretary of the Infant Mortality Rate Task Force Indonesia Pediatric Society. The task force’s main task is to coordinate with various stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health, other professional organizations, primary and referral health facilities, and non-government organizations, especially concerning infant and child mortality. One of the programs implemented is a national audit of neonatal, infant, and toddler deaths involving ten provinces in Indonesia, as well as joint coordination during the tragedy of acute kidney failure due to ethylene glycol/diethyl glycol poisoning in Indonesia.
