Ms. Tan Yuen Ming is a Principal Pharmacist at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Monash University, Australia, and a Master of Science in Project Management from the National University of Singapore. She heads the Projects, Quality & Safety portfolio in the Pharmacy Department, and is dedicated to enhancing medication safety and patient care. She serves in various national, institutional, and departmental workgroups. She is appointed as one of the lead system auditors for her institution, assessing compliance to relevant Joint Commission International standards. She is a faculty member in the Human Factors for Healthcare program at JurongHealth Campus and has co-developed the curriculum on Human Factors in Incident Investigations. She is also certified as an Improvement Coach by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and has coached or led various Quality Improvement projects and has presented some in national and international conferences.
