Clinical Lead Acute Care Portfolio, Health Care Improvement Scotland; Scotland

Dr Calum McGregor was appointed Clinical Lead for Acute Care in October 2017. In this role he provides clinical advice and quality improvement knowledge to teams in Acute Care, focusing on reducing harm and developing reliable processes of care.

Calum is a consultant in general and acute medicine, working in NHS Lanarkshire. He is a Scottish Patient Safety Fellow and Clinical Lead for Deteriorating Patients in Wishaw General. As clinical lead he has led and supported the implementation of sepsis and deteriorating patient improvement projects.
