Joanne Matthews RGN BSC is the Head of Improvement and Safety within Healthcare Improvement Scotland. Joanne has led the Scottish Patient Safety Programme since 2013 incorporating now a broader leadership role within the ihub supporting redesign and the continuous improvement of health and care across Scotland. Joanne has more than 22 years of experience of healthcare through nursing, management including leadership development, strategy and commissioning.
