Improvement advisor and programme director, Danish Society for Patient Safety; Denmark

Rikke von Benzon Hollesen is an improvement advisor and programme director in the Danish Society for Patient Safety. She has a master degree of psychology and educational studies and former associate professor on learning in organisation at the Copenhagen Business School (University).

She was director of the national perinatal safety programme and improvement programme in Denmark. She was nurse educator at a large acute hospital, teacher at the nursing school and patient safety officer in the capital region of Denmark.
