Diane worked in NHS Ayrshire & Arran from 1996 as a Patient Focus and Public Involvement Manager prior to being appointed as Person-centred Care Manager in 2008. This role involved supporting the involvement of patients, families, carers and the community in healthcare decision making, service change and improving care experiences. In June 2015 she qualified as a Scottish Improvement Leader (ScIL) and joined Healthcare Improvement Scotland to lead the national Person-centred Health and Care Programme.
