Academic Health Science Network Chair for the Patient Safety Leads

Cheryl Crocker is the Executive Regional lead, EMAHSN PSC, Honorary Associate Professor, University of Nottingham and Chair of the National Patient Safety Collaborative Leads group, PhD. A Critical Care Nurse and teacher, she has co-written and edited a text book ‘Nursing the Critically Ill’. Previously a health lecturer at the University of Nottingham. Cheryl was awarded a fellowship at the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement where she trained in patient safety at the Institute of Health Improvement, Harvard. Following this Cheryl has worked in senior roles for the East Midlands Ambulance Service and as Director of Quality and Nursing for three Clinical Commissioning Groups.
