E7: Taking Complex Interventions to Full Scale: Learnings from Across the Globe

Friday 29 March
13.15 – 14.30

Scaling up complex interventions across large health systems with speed and fidelity is major undertaking. Success depends on multiple factors including baseline system strength, leadership engagement, the strength of the ideas for change, the QI support for change, partnerships, the implementation approach (including tracking and understanding what is actually happening so you can adapt if needed), and the measurement/evaluation strategy. We will glean lessons from 4 ambitious scale up interventions from across the globe and share ideas on how to avoid or overcome pitfalls along the scale up pathway.
