Alastair Ross has wide interest in Organisational Psychology, Human Factors, and quality and safety in healthcare. He is conducting research into the behavioural and organisational aspects of preventive care in General Dental Practice and oral care for older people living in Care Homes. His main educational interest is in the use of simulated exercises for teaching healthcare undergraduates and professionals. His current funders include the Scottish Government, the Health Foundation and the Dunhill Medical Trust. He is Human Factors lead for the Centre of Applied Resilience in Healthcare.
