X4: Improving health and wellbeing outcomes through social inclusion, and working upstream with QI to increase life chances for children, young people and families.

This exciting experience day will explore innovative community improvement work beyond acute healthcare, comprising of a visit to Centrestage, a charity based in the West of Scotland which works with the community delivering a variety of high impact projects which promote social inclusion and reducing isolation. Projects include Catalyst, supporting ex-offenders, Connect for young people and On the Road, Dignified Food Provision, to name but a few. Participants will also meet and learn from the experience of professionals from health, early years and education applying Quality Improvement methodology to improve health and achievement outcomes for children, as part of the Scotland-wide Children and Young People’s Improvement Collaborative (CYPIC).
