Dorthe Boe Danbjørg is Vice President in the Danish Nurses’ Organization which she has been since 2018. She is a trained nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing and she holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences. She has a strong focus on strengthening the profession.

Dorthe is particularly interested in the field of education and better conditions for nurses’ further education, for safe nurse staffing and retention of nurses in order to solve the rising shortage of nurses. Dorthe Boe Danbjørg is a board member of the Danish Society for Patient Safety.
