Quality Improvement Editor, The BMJ; UK
Cat is the Quality Improvement Editor for The BMJ, working in partnership with UK charity The Health Foundation to create a series of articles discussing key challenges and providing practical support to help clinicians to improve healthcare: www.bmj.com/quality-improvement. She also leads on Research Integrity across BMJ, looking at ways BMJ can ensure it publishes research to the highest standards. Cat co-leads The BMJ’s work to support clinician wellbeing and also sits on the Steering Committee for the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare. In previous roles, Cat created learning resources and a digital platform to teach and support clinicians to undertake QI work as Clinical Lead for BMJ Quality and was editor of the journal BMJ Quality Improvement Reports, now BMJ Open Quality. Cat is a GP by training.
