In this presentation, Safer Care Victoria (SCV), in partnership with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), will delve into the transformative concept of Whole System Quality (WSQ). WSQ integrates quality planning, control, and improvement across all levels of health care organisations. It fosters a culture of learning and resilience to meet evolving patient and community needs, enabling continuous, reliable, and sustainable quality in both stable and crisis times. This session will explore key principles for achieving WSQ, addressing current challenges, and setting a future path for systemic excellence across Victoria. Attendees will gain insights into strategies for embedding quality and safety as a core component of healthcare delivery.
