Tackling the healthcare professional wellbeing crisis: wellbeing for Victorian healthcare workers

The Wellbeing for Healthcare Workers Initiative Phase 2 (the Initiative) involved 36 healthcare teams from 30 healthcare organisations across Victoria.

These teams participated in a Breakthrough Series Collaborative where Safer Care Victoria (SCV) provided improvement coaching, shared learning activities, a data collaboration platform, and monthly data reporting utilising the Joy in Work framework.

The aim of the Initiative was to reduce burnout and improve joy in healthcare workers through developing and testing changes to improve wellbeing at work at the local level.

Coordinating teams received expert coaching in improvement science methods and participated in learning and sharing sessions facilitated by SCV and IHI to assist implementation of the Initiative.
