EN1: Medical Missions, When Humanity Sleep, Humans Die and Earth Sinks Deep

Thursday 19th September 2019 08:00am-08:45am Humanitarian missions are seriously in need of healthcare professionals and humanitarian people willing to help. During my mission to the Syrian Refugee Camps I witnessed how refugees are struggling to create a livelihood for themselves and their families.The war has left those affected in a desperate need for both physical and psychological support, and a big scope for improvement is yet needed. After this session, participants will be able to:

1. Have a comprehensive view of the current humanitarian crisis situation
2. Understand how each person can provide help from his/her skills and experience
3. Appreciate methods to prevent such humanitarian crisis in the first place
