EN1: Medical Missions, When Humanity Sleep, Humans Die and Earth Sinks Deep
Humanitarian missions are seriously in need of healthcare professionals and humanitarian people willing to help. During my mission to the Syrian Refugee Camps I witnessed how refugees are struggling to create a livelihood for themselves and their families. The war has left those affected in a desperate need for both physical and psychological support, and a big scope for improvement is yet needed.
After this session, participants will be able to:
- Have a comprehensive view of the current humanitarian crisis situation
- Understand how each person can provide help from his/her skills and experience
- Appreciate methods to prevent such humanitarian crisis in the first place
