F1: Demystifying culture: how leaders can individually and collectively improve culture in the real world through daily work, courage and relationships
People often ask ‘how do we change culture?’. In this session we’ll explore how every person, and especially leaders, can influence culture in practice through behaviour. Attendees will get the chance to reflect on their individual leadership practice and will develop core skills in creating trust and psychological safety for everyone. Learning from leaders who model these behaviours, we’ll explore the power of vulnerability and authenticity and attendees will practice the behaviours that transform professional relationships and culture.
After this session, participants will be able to:
- Articulate their personal strengths and opportunities in changing culture
- Model behaviours that develop trust and psychological safety
- Influence the culture in their own teams
