F5: National network for End-of-Life Care in Sweden

In this session you will learn how the Swedish National Register of Palliative care has collected data from more than 500 000 deaths from hospitals, nursing homes and palliative teams, and how in 2018 networking started for systematic result improvement.

Part B: The integration of palliative care into the mainstream health care system in Taiwan

Taiwan ranked number six among 80 countries in the quality of death index in 2015. In this session, Dr Wang will present the three waves of the hospice palliative movement in Taiwan. Palliative care is now integrated into the mainstream health care system. The future development of palliative care includes the public health approach in community and long term care system.
