A/Prof Tai has broad experience in healthcare as a physician, a hospital administrator and an educator. She is the Chief Quality Officer for National Healthcare Group (NHG). She is a Senior Consultant anaesthesiologist and intensive care physician in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) for more than 28 years. She helped to establish the patient safety framework TTSH and NHG and has been faculty for patient safety training and clinical quality improvement programs in Singapore and in the region. She has helped to lead and support multiple improvement initiatives, including collaboratives on Medication Safety, High Alert Medications, and Critical Lab Results.
