Syahid Hassan holds a PhD in Human Factors Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He has a passion for quality improvement and actively promotes human-centeredness in the design of work systems. As a Principal Specialist in the Office of Improvement Science, he offers his Human Factors expertise to facilitate improvement efforts, developing system designs that are more resilient to human fallibility. He also contributes to strengthening the culture of safety in the hospital, and has taken on the role of a Just & Learning Culture Champion, advocating for a fair yet caring culture of workplace accountability and justice in the hospital.
