Professor Fu-Chan Wei is a world-renowned microsurgeon. He established the world’s most comprehensive and busiest microsurgical center at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and has been recognized as one of the “twenty most important innovators in plastic surgery over the past 400 years” by the American Society of Plastic Surgery and “10 most influential reconstructive surgeons in the 21st century” by the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons. He was awarded an honorary fellowship by the American College of Surgeons and elected as Academician at the Academia Sinica in Taiwan. An enthusiastic educator, he has authored over 100 book chapters and edited 18 textbooks.
