Dr. Huang has a long standing expertise and interest in neurotrauma, neurointensive care, Integrated Community/ Home-based Health Care, and palliative care. As a pioneer and pilot of Taiwanese palliative and holistic care, Dr. Huang has led the medical team to step outside the hospital, and step into the community to deliver the unique and complete home-based community palliative care service. Dr. Huang has proposed the Taipei Declaration in 2016 on “suffering prevention”, 2017 on “health promoting palliative care” and 2018 on “ultimate integrated care”.
