Göran was the Chief Executive of Learning and Innovation in the County Council of Jönköping, Sweden, between 1997 and 2023. As chief of centre of learning and innovation, Qulturum, he was leading work within the areas of quality, leadership and management development for the employees in the County and also for health care on a regional and national level. Göran has nearly forty years’ experience of management in the Swedish Health Care system. Region Jönköping are ranked among the best in Swedish care with regards to citizen satisfaction, access, clinical performance, safety and costs. Göran is a board member of the Swedish Institute of Quality, senior fellow of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and the chair emeritus of the Strategic Committee of the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
