Jo Wailling is a clinician researcher, human factors professional and restorative practitioner who has held professional leadership roles in the UK and NZ. She collaborates with international government agencies, researchers, and advocacy groups to co-design, facilitate, and evaluate restorative initiatives. Her notable work includes the New Zealand Ministry of Health restorative response to surgical mesh harm and co-facilitating the design of a national restorative health system framework. Her research interests include restorative responses, resilient healthcare, system safety and realist evaluation.
