As Director of Quality Improvement at Radboudumc, Marije Hansen-Stoffer advises the Board of Directors and hospital leadership on quality improvement strategies. She has led national initiatives on hospital-wide patient flow and regularly provides training—both internally and externally—for healthcare professionals and their managers on topics such as flow optimization, reliable design, improvement methodologies, and cost reduction.


Marije was trained by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to implement the Real Time Demand and Capacity (RTDC) methodology in hospitals, both nationally and internationally. She plays a key role in ensuring that critical developments within and beyond Radboudumc are brought to the appropriate strategic forums, and she is committed to sharing outcomes and lessons learned to support broader improvement efforts.
