Sjoerd chairs the Dutch national program on Health Evaluation and Appropriate Care on behalf of all parties in medical specialty care in the Netherlands. The program aims to embed the conduction of clinical trials and the implementation of its results in guidelines, insurance coverage and daily practice in all hospitals in the Netherlands.
