My name is Carl Elliott Reeves and I’m 42 years old. I was previously a patient at Forest Lodge. Life has changed so much for me and my family over the last couple of years, when Kim Parker asked if I wanted to work alongside her and the team at the hospital. I never imagined it would lead to a career in mental health services.

I’m passionate about helping others with their struggles. I want to help others find their true potential and calling in life, and – with my knowledge and experience – to work alongside my colleagues to provide the best care to patients. We don’t strive for perfection, but we do strive for continual progression.

I have an amazing partner who I married in September; one thing that I have learned on this journey is that with the right support and love, anything is possible.
