Dr Hall is an international public mental health leader, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health. She leads the WHO Regional Office for Europe’s work on improving the quality of child and adolescent mental health care, driving real-world impact using evidence, innovation and strategic communications.


She has over 17 years of international and UK-based experience in clinical psychology and mental health. Key achievements include developing the first WHO Quality Standards for Child and Youth Mental Health Services, the design of a WHO chatbot psychological intervention for adolescents, and setting up the first WHO youth participation initiative for child and adolescent mental health.
Before moving to Greece, Dr Hall was posted in Geneva (headquarters) where she worked on scalable psychological interventions, and then she moved to Fiji where she was the WHO mental health focal point for the Pacific Islands. Before WHO, she worked as a clinical psychologist between the UK and Uganda.
