Rochelle Currie is the Senior Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety for NS Health. Rochelle has over 20 years’ experience leading healthcare teams across a variety of settings and in various capacities. Rochelle has worked in both the US and Canada and has successfully managed and led teams through large-scale provincial transformations both in Alberta and Nova Scotia.
Work as done vs work as imagined is what matters most to Rochelle. Her many years as an operational leader maintain her focus on simplifying things where possible, and making sure that the tools and resources for improvement at the frontline are both usable and valuable.
Rochelle is an Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy and Psychology from Dalhousie University and a Master’s in healthcare Quality, Patient Safety and Risk from Queens University.
