Our recommendations for frontline clinicians and those new to QI
Whether you are at the start of your Quality Improvement (QI) journey or just want to brush up on the basics, the Utrecht programme offers an opportunity to get to grips with the core methodology as well as get informed and involved in conversations across different topic areas in the field.
On the first day of the conference (Wednesday) we encourage you to attend one of our Experience Days to learn first-hand about improvement initiatives in Dutch organisations.
You could also begin with an interactive workshop such as M9: Creating safer outcomes by partnering with patients as part of their care team to raise signs of deterioration or M2: Change World Cafe.
During the main two conference days (Thursday and Friday) you will get a taster of different themes, covering everything from data to co-creation, flow and equity.
The sessions we have recommended below are suitable for those with no formal training or background in quality improvement. They are an opportunity to meet established QI practitioners as well as other beginners. We have a mixture of workshop and lecture-based content.
