Associate Professor Lau Tang Ching is a Consultant Rheumatologist in the Division of Rheumatology, University Medicine Cluster in the National University Hospital (NUH). He was appointed the Vice Dean (Education) of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) in June 2017 and was Vice Chairman Medical Board (Education) for NUH from 2013 to 2017. Associate Professor Lau is a Faculty Member of the Singapore Healthcare Improvement Network (SHINe)’s Large Scale Initiative – Reduce Harm in Patients. Associate ProfessorLau’s main research interests are in osteoporosis, pharmacoeconomic evaluation, medical education and evidence-based medicine. He is the current Chairman of the National Arthritis Foundation and is the Faculty Member of Singapore Healthcare Improvement Network (SHINe). Associate Professor Lau is a certified Tai Chi Instructor. His hobbies include photography, singing, cooking, jogging and TaiChi.
