The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare Australasia 2021

For over 25 years, the International Forum has been a platform for healthcare professionals to connect, share learning and innovative ideas, and discuss effective approaches to quality and safety improvement.

At the virtual International Forum Australasia 2021, you will hear about the key themes in healthcare in Australasia and you will consider how perspectives from around the world can support and inspire solutions to global and regional challenges.

You will connect with like-minded colleagues and find evidence, and inspiration, to support your improvement strategies.

On demand access to International Forum Australasia 2021 now available

For the first time, you can get full access to the International Forum Australasia 2021 virtual platform and watch recordings of all sessions from the live conference in September. This includes access to over 100 ePosters, and a chance to connect to authors, sponsors, speakers and other attendees.

Some of the key discussions you will be able to hear more about include how to support the wellbeing and recovery of health and care workforce after covid-19, what can we learn from innovation emerging during times of crisis, how to approach tackling inequalities in healthcare access and outcomes, and how do healthcare leadership and patient partnership look like in the post-pandemic world?

The Australasia 2021 programme

This year, we offer opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the globe, offer peer support to those who have been at the frontline of the crisis, and discuss how innovations born of necessity can build a new future.

Some of the themes that we will explore include the wellbeing of health and care staff, equity, patient partnerships and the future of quality improvement in this new reality. Read more about our theme ‘Reconnect and Rebuild’ and the topics we will cover in our programme overview.

We have a completely redesigned programme that meets the needs of an online environment. This includes shorter sessions, new session formats and plenty of time for discussion.

With virtual sessions, featuring Q&A with speakers and interactive activities, there is content to suit all levels of experience, whether you are new to quality improvement or an established practitioner.
