The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare Europe 2021

For over 25 years, the International Forum has been a platform for healthcare professionals to connect, share learning and innovative ideas, and discuss effective approaches to quality and safety improvement.

At the virtual International Forum Europe 2021, you will have the chance to kickstart or advance your learning of quality improvement methodologies, share and deliberate ideas that can improve outcomes for your patients and communities.

You will hear about the key themes in healthcare in Europe and you will consider how perspectives from around the world can support and inspire solutions to global and regional challenges.

The Europe 2021 programme

This year, we offer opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the globe, offer peer support to those who have been at the frontline of the crisis, and discuss how innovations born of necessity can build a new future.

We have a completely redesigned programme that meets the needs of an online environment. This includes shorter sessions, new session formats and plenty of time for discussion.

With over 48 virtual sessions, featuring Q&A with speakers and interactive activities, there is content to suit all levels of experience, whether you are new to quality improvement or an established practitioner.

What to expect at our virtual conference

This 3-day virtual conference responds to the time pressures of healthcare professionals. You can join in when your schedule permits and you can also dip in and out of sessions.

All live sessions will be recorded so you can watch them in your own time, up to twelve months after the conference, alongside hours of additional on demand content.

During the live conference, you will be able to converse with others live or at a pre-arranged time, join in discussions and activities in breakout rooms as part of live workshops, ask questions during sessions and participate in facilitated networking activities.

Virtual delivery also means that you can join one or more of our 2021 International Forums in Europe, Australasia and Asia without facing the expense and the need to travel to different parts of the world.

In 2021, you have the chance to join one or more of our virtual International Forums, taking advantage of our packages for multiple attendances. 

The three International Forums taking place in 2021 will focus on the key themes in quality improvement and patient safety, beyond the pandemic, in Europe, Asia and Australasia. We will discuss these themes throughout the year and consider different regional perspectives.
