Ng Toon Mae has led, coached and coordinated patient safety and quality improvement collaboratives and projects in nursing homes, acute and community hospitals, and centre-based facilities, most recently through Singapore Healthcare Improvement Network (SHINe). Prior to her present involvement in the areas of healthcare quality, Toon Mae was practising and teaching in the field of infection control for more than 15 years.
