Pa-Chun Wang
Chief Executive Officer, Joint Commission of Taiwan; Taiwan
Dr. Pa-Chun Wang is currently the chief executive officer of the Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT), and a full professor at the Fu Jen Catholic University School of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan. He holds MD degree from the China Medical University, Master of Science degree in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health, and EMBA from the National Taiwan University. He finished his otolaryngology fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wang is the President-Elect of Asian Society for Quality in Health Care (ASQua) from 2019-2021. He served as board directors in several professional organizations, including Taiwan Otolaryngology Society, Taiwan College of Hospital Executives, Taiwan Association of Healthcare Quality. He is also the President of the Taiwan Society of Simulation in Healthcare, active member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ, USA), International Otopathology (Schuknecht) Society and the Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum (CORLAS). He has more than 300 peer-reviewed articles published in leading scientific journals covering focused areas on: otolaryngology outcomes research, healthcare quality, and patient safety.
